Thank you for your support of the inaugural Explorer 5k. All the proceeds from the 5k will be directly donated to the Hudson student athletes, teams, equipment and so much more. The Hudson Athletic Booster Club provides financial support to our teams, coaches and athletes to further enhance their successful athletic career. Last year we were fortunate to provide over $100,000 in scholarship funds, equipment, uniforms, training, books and so much more.

PACKET PICK-UP

Friday, September 22nd from 12pm to 3pm **Teachers, staff and students only**

Pick up will be in the Main office at the High School. 

Saturday, September 23rd from 9am - 12pm -  *** All registrants  ***

Pick up will be at the Hudson Memorial stadium home side entrance. 

Be a WINNER!

Saturday during packet pick up and all race day Sunday morning, there will be a display of our generously donated raffle baskets. Raffle tickets will be sold during the designated packet pick-up times on Saturday as well as before and during the run. Winners will be drawn and announced at the conclusion of the awards ceremony. You do not need to be present to win.

Tickets prices are $1/ea6 tickets for $5 and 25 tickets for $20

PARKING

Please see the map below. Participants can enter from Stow Rd and/or Hudson-Aurora Rd. There is a designated area for parking in the High School parking lot (Junior class parking lot). Overflow parking will be in the Senior lot only if need. 

**The parking lot by the baseball fields (Sophomore lot) will be closed for the safety of our participants

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

7:15 - 7:30 am - Volunteer check in

8am - Race day registration begins and will close promptly at 8:45am. The registration tent will be located inside the football stadium by the home side entrance.

Raffle basket tent will be located inside the stadium by the home concession stand. 

8:50am - National Anthem

9am - Explorer 5k runners start

9:15am - Explorer 1 mile run/walk begins

9:30am - Kids fun run and dash begins inside the stadium on the track - Premier fitness will be on site for instruction.

10:30am - Awards, post run snacks and raffle winners drawn

5k Participants - 

8 am - 8:45 am- Check in at the registration table for your race day bib located inside the football stadium on the home side.

This event is a chip timed event start to finish if you choose. Non timed bibs are also an option. Please be sure to display your bib where it is visible on the front of your shirt. Awards will be determined by the chip time and your photo will be tagged by your bib number. 

Runiversity will be managing the timing of our race.

Starting Line-up -

Elite runners (finishing time of 20 min or under) are asked to line up at the front of the start line. For the safety of all the younger runners participating in the 5k, we ask that they 

are towards the back of the crowd. Walkers and walkers with strollers, we encourage you to line up in the back of all runners.

Award Ceremony - 

The award ceremony will begin promptly after the final runners have entered the stadium and crossed the finish line. The top male and female overall will be awarded a Vertical Runner gift card. The top 2 male and female runners in the following age categories will also be presented with a race day goodie. 

17 & younger, 18 yrs - 24 yrs, 25 yrs - 34 yrs, 35 yrs - 44 yrs, 45 yrs - 54 yrs, 55 yrs - 64 yrs and 65 yrs & over
